Mac Translations is a language service spearheaded by Lisa McCarthy, a qualified and experienced Spanish and Catalan to English translator.
I grew up in Ireland but moved to London shortly after obtaining my degree in Spanish. I worked mainly in the financial services sector and for a trade association for the regional press. In 2005, I relocated to Barcelona to pursue a full-time career in translation. After obtaining a Diploma in Translation from the Chartered Institute of Linguists (UK) I set up my own translation business, Mac Translations. For the past 13 years I have been helping companies communicate their services and products clearly and convincingly through my professional translation and editing service.
I cater for both translation agencies and direct clients and sometimes collaborate with other translation professionals to cover requirements for languages other than Spanish and Catalan to English.
